COVID-19 has thrown everyone for a major loop this year. We’re not the only craft show taking the virtual route. Here are a few of our favorites.
The awesome Do It Green! Green Gifts Fair at Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis already has their website up and running. The virtual event is set for November 19-22. We at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center LOVE recycling and nature and this event is a great way to support those concepts while supporting local crafters and other vendors!
CANCELLED FOR 2020 because of major building construction as well as the coronavirus pandemic is the Holiday Craft Bazaar at the Roseville Gift & Craft Shoppe at Fairview Community Center in Roseville. Normally you can “Shop handmade crafts featuring quilts, ceramics, wood crafts, jewelry, knit and crocheted items, pottery, clothing, holiday decorations, baked goods, and so much more!” at the Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B W, Roseville 55113. Profits benefit the Roseville Area Senior Program and the individual artisans. Do plan to shop there in 2021!
The same weekend as the Holiday Craft Fair, the VFW on Woodhill, just north of City Hall, has a craft sale as well. We don’t yet know if they’re going virtual or not but we can tell you that interested vendors can call or text Mary, 651-485-4867 for more information on how to apply to participate.
Here are some nifty holiday gift ideas from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, “Living Green 365: Make memories, not trash.” Check it out!
